The Challenge

I worked with Ryanair for over two years as the Lead UI Designer. As one of Europe’s largest low cost airlines, Ryanair set out to reimagine the future travel experience for more than 100 million customers. During this time, we grew the design team from 1 to 10 visual designers in under a year and redesigned the digital experience across desktop and mobile, alongside a full brand refresh. The work delivered measurable results for the business, established a clear direction for what came next, and helped place design at the center of the organisation.

The Approach
From the start, the goal was to transform the entire experience, from brand perception through to redesigning and rebuilding the platform. The focus was on creating a more enjoyable journey across the full booking process. A new brand style, lighter colors, colorful illustrations, and a friendlier tone of voice helped shift how people felt about booking flights with Ryanair.
